Miriam Schapiro Inspired Fans
Students learned about the American Artist, Miriam Schapiro, and her work with creating large-scale paintings in the shape of fans as homage to the women who have worked to create a variety of useful, beautiful things the world of crafting.
Students used a variety of lines to decorate these awesome fans. How many different kinds of lines can YOU find? Zig-zags, wavy, thick and thin lines, diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines, spirals, bouncy lines, and so many more! Wow!
